Be a key driver on BASF’s path to digitalisation by supporting existing products and initiatives as well as innovate additional digital solutions that supports BASF’s global businesses

Role specific activities

  • Deployment using Git / ANT into different salesforce sandboxes (including manual release steps directly in Salesforce)
  • Troubleshoot errors in builds
  • Support and if necessary, train colleagues
  • Extend current build scripts with new requirements

Required

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer science, Software Engineering or comparable from an accredited college or university is required
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in working with Salesforce / Git
  • experience with Salesforce and especially Salesforce Metadata API
  • experience with Git, administrating a Git Repository, Javascript
  • experience in agile Software development
  • Passion for working in a team
  • Analytical capabilities
  • Experiences in working in global / virtual teams/projects
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to foster a positive and energized culture
  • Excellent judgement. Able to weigh several and often conflicting constraints and make rapid, logical decisions in a fast-moving company.

  • Technical skills:
    • Salesforce Configuration
    • Using Git, Administration of Git Repository
    • JavaScript

Nice to have (Education, Additional Qualifications and experience)

  • Programmatical Know-how about Salesforce (e.g. Apex, Aura Components etc.)
  • Test automation
  • Knowledge of application lifecycle, change/release management process
  • Knowledge of the Atlassian tool-stack
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure on non-routine and highly complex tasks.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural team spread across the globe.
