Fluidra operates in more than 45 countries through its subsidiaries and have more than 135 sales offices and 30 production centers around the world, in addition to strategically distributed logistics platforms that support their production and distribution centers. This global platform enables Fluidra to distribute a great variety of versatile products by adapting to the peculiarities of each region, pool and customer.

We are looking for a Product Manager Connected Equipment located in Sabadell /Sant Cugat.

Job Purpose: Develop, support & follow up Strategic Marketing activities for product scope across EMEA.

Key Role:

PRODUCT FAMILY

The product category consists of residential swimming pool connected equipment. These products aim at making the pool more autonomous and sustainable, while providing enhanced remote management capabilities for the end user.

It includes such equipment as:
  • Connected power center cabinets (controlling pool equipment).
  • Smart Relays (similar to smart plugs).
  • Connection gateways (connecting the equipment to the internet).
  • Connected sensors (to measure various pool settings and provide info to the and/or other pool equipment control systems).
  • The automation value proposition enabled by the combination of the above products and other offerings.

The scope consists primarily of the “hardware” part and value proposition -close interaction will be required with the “software and services” part managed by the EMEA IoT team (cloud & app development).

This is a growing category, part of Company’s strategic Business Initiative. The product portfolio and synergies with other product families will expand over time.

PRODUCT STRATEGY AND PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Help build a good understanding of the market through market research and own tools focused on:
  • Existing solutions understanding and knowledge.
  • Customer purchase & usage behavior and key needs.
  • Consumer purchase and usage behavior.
  • Competition knowledge.
  • Trends inside and outside our industry.
  • Anticipate market evolution and growth opportunities.

Sales analysis to help build strategy and follow up (monthly & ad hoc).

Define full value proposition for new concepts (product, detailed specs, benefits, reason to believe, pricing…), including business plan, financial workbook and sales forecasts.

Define user stories for connected equipment remote control media (app, website) to build “pool intelligence” for users. This task may be extended to other product families to develop a common user experience (CX / UX).

Follow up closely identified projects and work in collaboration with transversal teams

Contribute to product development projects using both marketing and technical competencies.

Actively participate to Product Committee with Top Management

GO TO MARKET

Develop launch packs associated to new product(s) for B2B and B2C audiences and accompany the countries in their implementation to ensure strategy execution.

Develop and maintain a close collaboration with sales entities by listening to their needs

Create and update sales-oriented documents such as sales pitch, range recap and benchmark tables.

Provide guidelines and support Marcom Manager and Training team for execution of B2B and B2B2C communication materials especially:
  • Annual catalogs
  • Product media (visuals, leaflets, videos…)
  • Training contents
  • Coordinate content update

Sales and user satisfaction follow up as part of regular job (using available tools) to maintain and enhance our connectivity offering.

Competencies:
  • Technical products understanding and openness to “Internet of Things” (connected objects and services) is a key requirement – B2C or B2B experience strongly preferred. Home or building automation (ie combination of several connected elements) would be the “sweet spot”.
  • Advanced communication skills in English (written / verbal) as the role requires championing new concepts.
  • Ability to understand the needs of different target audiences: installer, end user and internal stakeholders (ex: after sales).
  • Ability to think strategically, while diving into the details of apps, user interfaces or product specifications as needed.
  • Strong analytical & synthesis skills to help develop a strategy.
  • Project management: from the initiation to the delivery of projects.
